Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 67.117.130.181). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. Budgiekiller 09:42, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Apologies for my erroneous reversion of your edit. Thanks for bringing it to my attention so politely. Good luck in future edits! Cheers! Budgiekiller 09:42, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I really doing better to stay within guidelines of Wikipedia and really appreciate all the input the editors teach me about working better with this system. I am getting more keen, but after finally getting something significant in with Hawaiian Soy Sauce I admit I may have went overboard with reference links and external links but none led to any direct marketing or sales areas. Please review my previous submissions as I'm sure one is suitable to stay posted. I've been working on here all day in areas contributing what I know about Hawaiian Food and Culture related topics, from living in Hawaii and studying for many years. Please help somehow where all I've prepared isn't wasted. I'm honestly really just trying to contribute by relating topics here and adding valid content.

To User:Alohashoyu: placing {{helpme}} on other user's usertalk pages is unneeded, as that user will see the message anyway. --ais523 16:07, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Algonquin Round Table

Why are you removing all these links for Algonquin Round Table members? These are not commercial links if they are going to a non-profit society, which the Dorothy Parker Society is. --K72ndst 03:23, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Sorry! I see that you're right. Your edits came just after someone else with an anonymous address had been deleting dozens of links to non-copyrighted radio sites for old radio shows like Nero Wolfe and the The Saint and I hastily, and incorrectly, thought that you were the same guy come back to bug us in a similar way. Mea culpa, and keep up the good work to drive out the spam! (It's been suggested that the other guy deleting all the links to free sites is actually the promoter of a pay-to-listen radio site, hence his dislike of the free ones....) [edit] Welcome== ==Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but you may wish to create a account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits, including:

We hope that you choose to become a Wikipedian and create an account. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have on my talk page. By the way, make sure to sign and date your comments with four tildes (~~~~). Hu12 17:39, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome. I'm aware of the option of editing under a username but I choose not to do so at this time. Do you think you could unprotect your user and talk pages? It's kind of unfriendly to leave them that way for so long. Whoever was messing with them in October has probably lost interest by now. 67.117.130.181 17:58, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
Noticed your activity, and wanted to better inform you of the options availiable by becoming a Wikipedian. I'm aware of the protection of my user page, however I choose not to unprotect at this time. Welcome--Hu12 18:29, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
I urge you to discuss the protection matter with Pilotguy per his request that you keep it temporary [1]. Protecting your talk page is like sticking your fingers in your ears. People like me have no way to initiate communication with you. It's like saying "speak when you're spoken to". Regards, 67.117.130.181 18:36, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Phenothrin

Thanks for pointing out the formating problem: I hadn't been aware of it. I tried to fix up the page, and did add a short sentence on the EPA's problem with it. It is not something I am familiar with at all, so I wasn't sure about notability: the original article appeared to be a copy of a press release or something. delton 14:39, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] your In4pharm notes

Hi, 67.117.130.181.
1. I will make redirect from market names to INN immediately for following our conventions about the naming of drug pages except original forms of some drugs.
2. I use drugs-about.com as one of main information resources (which provides only official data from companies and health care administrations). May be I should point this resource as a reference source of this information (because I have to mark the source generally).
3. I did not write any article as "promotional manner". This articles has been written in dot format which use many trusted sites, online and offline directories and encyclopedias (including Wikipedia).
4. Some questions to me from other users (purpose with usernames or admin rights) were about copyright materials and usage of trademark symbols. I had solved this problems already.
If you have any claims please write. Thank you.

[edit] Thanks!

Thanks for your insightful addition to the Dave Gilbert deletion review. It's refreshing to see an anonymous user with something useful to say -- I hope I remember your octets so I can recognize them later. :) Andre (talk) 08:40, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Midnight Syndicate rfar

Hi. I understand -- and agree with -- the principles you're trying to set down in the proposed "article bans". But I think that this case is a bad example; what we'd need as a good precedent would be a case where someone is promoting their own company (or whatever) and is in conflict with an uninvolved, unrelated editor. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 17:04, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What mistake did I make?

Apart from following Sathya Sai Baba for nine years. Andries 21:38, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

okay, I found what you must have probably meant when you wrote
"I'd describe his cite selections, including the disputed link at Robert Priddy that set off this case, as possibly a little too inclusionist, as opposed to tendentious or one-sided."

[edit] Tenacity

Good point. I probably meant "audacity". David Mestel(Talk) 16:53, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
