[edit] Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, 66.99.1.4, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

Please refrain from removing content from Wikipedia, as you did to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/George Reeves Project. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --MisterHand 02:02, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Perhaps we should reflect together on your approach so far?

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks.

  • Please do not use Wikipedia to advance an agenda, after being warned. The rest of the web is available for that. It is considered vandalism.
  • Please do not blank people's user pages. It is considered really obnoxious.
  • Please do not engage in sockpuppetry (using an an assortment of user names). It is tedious to have to sort all that out, and is very annoying.
  • Please do not declare war on Wikipedia by reverting changes made by consensus, threating a vandalism campaign, and addressing epithets to the community at large. It is considered a sign of poor breeding.

We have a lot of work to do here, and we would very much like your assistance. I see that you can write, and you have a lot of energy and passion. You seem to have gotten off to a rocky start, but I'm confident that if we put our heads together we can turn that around. If you would like to respond on my talk page, I can expand on this. You can reach me by clicking on my name where ever it appears in blue, like here:Herostratus 01:22, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
