You removed a section of an article without explanation. 99% of the time, this is vandalism; as far as I could see, the section was useful. Of course, I accept the explanation you have now provided, but I had no way of knowing your intention at the time. To avoid this, simply explain your intentions in the edit summary when making a significant edit. That way, anyone who sees your edit will know what you are doing and not mistake it for vandalism.
