You are apparently claiming to be Alex Kapranos in your edit summaries to Franz Ferdinand related articles.
Here is the point of concern. Wikipedia's policy states that using "names of well-known living people" to edit with is prohibited. This is to prevent folks from, at best, accidently misrepresenting their intentions, and at worst, impersonating these individuals. If you are not Alex, than this IP may be blocked by myself or one of Wikipedia's other administrators to prevent potential abuse. If you are Alex Kapranos, feel free to say so, please accept my apologies, and this account will not be blocked (although if there is some evidence suggesting otherwise the account may still be blocked).
Additionally, if you are Alex, it is generally a good idea to not edit articles about yourself. See the relevant policy at WP:AUTO. It's best to suggest changes on the talk pages to avoid any perception of a comflict of interest. smurrayinchester(User), (Talk) 22:07, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
