[edit] Khaksars

can you give reason for removing tags? --Spasage 13:31, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

Please do not put unnecessary tags unless you have a solid reason or proof.

Here is the source, which has already been provided. http://allama-mashriqi.8m.com/khaksar.html

This article needs wikification, I don’t think you should disagree with me. So don’t remove tab "wikify" and "context". They both will make this article good for reading. The only problem is tag "NPOV". Again, it is not making this article irrelevant. It is just saying that material in it may not be balanced. Again, I don’t think you should worry about it, as it will not make it irrelevant. I hope you understand. These tags will make this article more useful and a good read. Don’t worry about it. Also you added allama mashriqi link, I did not remove it, because using this link, we can improve this article. --Spasage 05:27, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
First of all make this very clear, I don’t have any personal issue with this article. What I am trying to explain you from the start is that these tags will make this article more credible after they will be implemented properly. You don’t have to worry about that this will be deleted. I won’t allow any one to do this. But if you remove these tags, there is possibility that this get deleted. In that case I’ll not be able to do any thing. I did not put these tags, some one else did this, but I think it is correct. You can edit this article, so that information it is trying to give is clear and explain everything properly. Again, you are welcome to improve quality of this article. The only problem is quality, nothing else. I think you will edit it so that its quality improves. --Spasage 05:51, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
One more thing, dont remove cats I have placed. --Spasage 05:57, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Hello, I have reverted your additions about Khaksars on the above page because:

1. The article is about Sardar Patel and not about Khaksars and the info added is quite irrelevant to the topic. 2. The article is a featured article and any major modification should first be suggested on the talk page. -- Lost 13:55, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Allama Mashriqi

Hi. Could you kindly give reasons for deleting some of my edits to this article for which I gave references from what appeared to me to be a competent book by an academic which contains lots of references to the primary sources. I am trying to improve the quality of this interesting article and it would greatly help me if you could give reasons.

As a general suggestion I would advise that if the reason is very concise it should be placed in the box at the foot of the edit page. If it is too complicated to be summarised in that box then it is best to add a note on the article's talk page. This simple procedure helps a lot by providing a channel for communication between editors working on the same article.

Regarding four million Khaksars: Information in Shan Muhammad's book (Khaksar Movement in India) is misleading.

New References have been added. For additional references on the subject, please read book titled:"Allama Mashriqi & Dr. Akhtar Hameed Khan: Two Legends of Pakistan". Enough references on Khaksar strenght (see page 124) have been provided in this book. With best wishes.

We may be very slightly at cross purposes. My question above asked for reasons deleting the following in the article on Allama Mashriqi: a petition writer of Amritsar<ref>Shan Muhammed, Khaksar Movement in India, Pub. Meenakshi Prakashan, Meerut, 1973 </ref> and He applied for entry into the Indian Civil Service but was turned down on medical grounds<ref>Shan Muhammed, Khaksar Movement in India, Pub. Meenakshi Prakashan, Meerut, 1973 </ref>
You have replied saying new references have been added, but I see none in this article, only the deletions. However, I do see references you have added to the article on the Khaksars perhaps you meant that.
Do you assert these two clear statements about Allama and his father from Shan Muhammed's book are also misleading or perhaps incorrect? On who's authority do you call Shan Muhammed's book misleading? I think the article will be improved by including a variety of sources, unless of course it can be shown (and agreed by editors) that a particular source is obviously unreliable. If the sources disagree and we cant agree that one source should be used rather than another then I think we should report in the article both sources.
I will make further comments on the talk pages of the article itself after I have had a chance to look at more books. I can see from the edit history that a lot of work on this article from this IP. Please be assured of my good intentions in improving the standard of this article and the related one on the Khaksars.
Please remember to use the edit summary box or the article's discussion page to explain reasons for edits. Regards. Op. Deo 05:23, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 1 week block for making legal threats

You have been blocked from editing for a duration of 1 week for making a legal threat on Talk:Allama Mashriqi. This is a very serious issue - please read Wikipedia:No legal threats. Rama's arrow 16:34, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

I apologize to you - I made a mistake in assuming that you had made a threat. You have been unblocked. Your contributions are welcome but please be careful. Rama's arrow 17:05, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Khaksars on Indian independence movement

Please do not disrupt Wikipedia to prove a point (WP:POINT); do not insert fancruft and data irrelevant to the article and then revert-war to reinsert it. You may be blocked from editing under WP:DE, WP:EW. Discuss your content on the talkpage first. Rama's arrow 20:40, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Help needed. Khaksar Movement on "Indian independence movement" and "Revolutionary movement for Indian independence" pages Two guys, Rama's Arrow and Dwaipayanc, are deleting information on Khaksar Movement. They probably have no information on this movement. Rama's Arrow has even blocked my IP address from making any changes. I am seeking help from other editors to resolve this issue.

Information about the Khaksars belongs in that article - it was an extremist Muslim group and not active in the Indian independence movement. Also, please do not engage in an edit war to try and prove a WP:POINT - you may be blocked for disrupting Wikipedia and vandalizing the articles by adding irrelevant text to the article. Rama's arrow 20:29, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

Rama Arrow's information is misleading. The information I added on the Khaksar Movement is correct. The Khaksars were very much part of freedom movement. Rama's Arrow needs to read more on the independence movement. Dear editors, please tell him not to engage in an edit war to try and prove a WP:POINT. I invite other readers to help resolve this issue, thanks.

March 28, 2007 I posted the following information on March 26, 2007 and someone has deleted it. I am adding it again: Editors Help Needed: Every time information on the Khaksar Movement is added, Rama's Arrow deletes it. Either he is biased towards the Khaksar Movement or lacks knowledge on this organization. I find his action discriminatory. He has been blocking me from editing. I, once again, request editors to help resolve this matter. With best wishes to everyone.
