Hi 64.231.15.24. Please look over both Wikipedia:Civility and Wikipedia:Assume good faith. I don't consider my edit here to be vandalism. Please explain why you consider it so. --EarthPerson 21:18, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

You know why it was vandalism. It doesn't make sense to assume good faith without a reason. 64.231.15.24 22:01, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
No, I honestly don't know why my shortening the title is considered by you to be vandalism. Vandalism is defined in WP as "any addition, deletion, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia." How did my changing shortening a book title, of a non-existant article, compromise the integrity of WP? As for assuming good faith, it many not make sense to do so without reason, but the principal is "Assume that people who work on the project are trying to help it, not hurt it." and it is accepted by most editors. Cheers. --EarthPerson 22:23, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
