[edit] Re: Bukkake
I acknowledge your complaint, but I'm unsure as to why you chose to direct it at me. Your link was neither removed by me nor for reasons of "vandalism". It seems another anonymous user (216.195.252.53) removed your link; see this diff. As you'll see, the user also included his/her reasoning in an edit summary: "Remove link to random porn site that was labelled as the "official" site for this topic."
It does seem odd to label your site as the official source of bukkake-related material. I don't presently have the time to examine your site in depth, but it does not seem very official. Indeed, the vast majority of screen space is taken up by questionable advertising. While you may not charge for access to your site, it is clearly commercial in this regard. You claim it is not a porn site, but I must respectfully disagree. You are, of course, entirely free to re-insert your link; but others are just as free to remove it if they disagree with the indispensability of your site. If your information is so valuable, why not import it into Wikipedia? We'd gladly accept your contribution of encyclopedic material. But please understand that external links are not really contributions in themselves; Wikipedia is not merely a collection of external links. You may wish to check out dmoz instead, if you haven't already done so. -- Hadal 03:03, 24 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- I've removed your link. A lot of people seem to think your link is not relevant to the article: perhaps you should listen to them. Your claims that the site is the "official" site are absurd (unless, of course, there is some official organization controlling the practice of bukkake that no-one else is aware of). Please don't get into a situation where we have to regard you as a link-spammer. -- Karada 23:23, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Please do not add commercial links (or links to your own private websites) to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. See the welcome page to learn more. Thanks. --Intimidated 16:36, 10 Mar 2005 (UTC)
