[edit] Beneficial Life Tower

Just because something is right next to something else, doesn't mean they're related. Also, the connection is not noted in the article at all. If you want to write something like "the Beneficial Life Tower is located right next to the ZCMI Center and looms right over it" then go ahead. Also, there is no article for the Beneficial Life Tower. While the only connection between the Benificial Life Tower and the ZCMI Center Mall is that they're right next to each other (almost on top of each other), there is certainly no connection between the ZCMI Center Mall and Beneficial Life (except for the fact that one of its office buildings is right next to the mall). It's also misleading to say "see also: the Benficial Life Tower" considering that the building doesn't have an article of its own. So, really, you're saying "see also: Benificial Life," which makes even less sense. bob rulz 04:40, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

{helpme} What did I do wrong on William S. Burroughs? I didn't recognize the extensive vandalism on that article when I made my first edit on it, but after I realized the other problems with the article I fixed them, and then got yelled at for it. Can I only edit an article after I've made sure that there's no vandalism on it? This is the second time I've been falsely accused of vandalism, so what am I doing wrong? I'm almost always putting in edit summaries that accurately describe my edits (yes I've forgot a couple, but not very many recently). Are people using IP address really not suppose to edit? What I see in the guidelines, rules, etc for WP is not matching what I'm experiencing, and I'm confused. -- 63.224.137.164 00:16, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for commenting on these historical statements of facts. Your suggestion that it reads more like an essay than an encyclopedic entry is out dated and possibly off point. You made that comment a couple of weeks ago before major clean ups look place when you may have been correct. Given that the documented aspects of many Old West pioneers are based on journals and newspaper interviews, as is the case with Sam Brannan and Archibald, and many others from the Old West, Archibald's journal, as linked to Archibald Gardner, is a major source of the article. Hence, to not cite a fair context of any article's references would break another Wikipedia rule, to not have a documented source for a paragraph. Yes, either way anyone goes can be discussed by a reviewer as breaking a Wikipedia rule. I see that you have writtn on LDS TOPICS before, and I do not know where you are comming from? I have been writing for Wikipedia in several areas, so I am keenly aware of Wikipedia rules. You are the only one that has raised the 'essay' complaint on any of my articles. I am only trying to be factual. Archibald's pioneering life was built upon gristmills, with other aspects of his life adding depth to the man. TThe building of mills is the main thread of the article, with LDS issues being secondary. I'll be removing the essay marker in one week, giving you time to do it yourself after we discuss this topic as noted above. That is, I am reporting the facts of a man' life and letting the chips fall where they may. If you wish to edit some topic, please do so without making unclear generalized claims. Hi! How've you been? Although I haven't had much time to work on this article, I have been trying to guide Milogardner into more standard Wiki editing patterns. I've also urged him to work more closely with other editors. I'm a little concerned that the article will be struck for lack of notability, particularly if he angles it toward mill construction rather than western pioneer categories. Good to see you around.
