User talk:62.255.64.4

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

[edit] Please Note:

62.255.64.4 is one of the small family of IP addresses allocated to all NTL broadband clients in the UK. These IP numbers cover approximately one million British broadband subscribers. If you are here to counter serious vandalism by an NTL user, please consider taking the following step instead of blocking: visit the NTL abuse reporting form [1] and take two minutes to detail the problem. I would volunteer to do it for you, but NTL only maintain logs for 48 hours, so time is of the essence if vandals are to be identified and requested to desist. Thanks for your attention to this note. Hi, please stop adding plugs to that site in articles. Thanks, silsor 00:30, Mar 4, 2004 (UTC)

Once again, would you please stop inserting links in articles to the same commercial site? Wikipedia is not the Yellow Pages. silsor 01:59, Mar 10, 2004 (UTC)

Please don't delete a cleanup header unless you've actually cleaned up the article. Please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style. RickK 07:17, Oct 23, 2004 (UTC)
