Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has now been reverted or removed. Please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for any other tests you want to do, since testing in articles will normally be reverted quickly. Please see the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks.  – Jrdioko (Talk) 18:29, 24 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Pavel Vozenilek 17:54, 4 Feb 2005 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page you will be blocked from editing. — Dan | Talk 22:28, 14 Feb 2005 (UTC)
  • 2005.05.15 : The IP's history shows permanent vandalism from this IP (presumably from one psycho) mixed with a few valid edits (presumably from honest users on the same proxy) mixed with submarine vandalism trying to look like legitimate edits (presumably from the aforementionned psycho). It should be banned for anonymous edits, it's overall not worth it IMO. ←#6  talk

Your comment was removed from the article text. As it has been a month since the last reported vandalism at this IP, I will not enact the block at this time, but please refrain from vandalism in the future, or you will be blocked. --DropDeadGorgias (talk) 21:30, Mar 10, 2005 (UTC)

I'm sorry but this is an encyclopedia, which means we are a publication of informal articles and thus your article has been put up for speedy deletion. Might I suggest a web forum for names or something similiar? Thanks. Inter\Echo 10:10, 11 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Hey, whoever screwed up DreamGuy's website I tank a lot! I hate the asshole myself!

You're welcome. :) --62.254.0.38 17:24, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Block

This address has been blocked from editing for twenty-four hours for repeated vandalism. If you wish to come back an edit Wikipedia sensibly after the block expires, you will be welcome; if you continue to vandalise, the length of the blocks will increase. [edit] Minus signs

Please stop changing the &minus notation. This is as described at the constituency style page. JeremyA 20:25, 8 May 2005 (UTC)

  • also please stop changing N/A to a percentage—where a party did not stand in a previous election in a particular constituency there is no percentage change, therefore N/A is the correct entry. JeremyA 20:30, 8 May 2005 (UTC)

I'm sorry about that, I was using the format on the BBC site, which does put those percentages on instead of the N/A.

  • There has been an effort to standardise the constituency page layouts. The BBC does put in percentage changes for new candidates but this is arguably incorrect, and so the N/A approach has been adopted here instead. JeremyA 20:51, 8 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Nottingham, UK

I haven't been vandalising, but when I arrived at wikipedia I was presented with a message saying that I had new messages and directing me to this page. As per the earlier comment, I presume that this is because it is a shared IP address.

Please be careful before blocking this IP, because it will block innocent users like me too! Thanks

  • This is a common problem with dynamic IP addresses. An easy way to avoid this problem is to sign up with a username. JeremyA 20:51, 8 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Nonsense

Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Sjakkalle 13:18, 11 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Users of this IP address

You should be aware that continued vandalism by oen or more people using this address is likely to lead to its being blocked from editing for a period. To avoid being inconvenienced, why not open an editing account? It's free, easy, has no strings attached, and brings various benefits (not least the fact that you won't find yourself blocked from editing because some no-hoper without a life uses the same address for childish vandalism).
