If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself.
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --fvw* 17:19, 2005 Jan 4 (UTC)
Unfortunately this is a shared proxy server...
I do know that Simon on hostip.info manages to correctly determine my IP address from the HTTP headers sent to him... maybe this is something that you can look at for this proxy server, or does it need to be built into Wikipedia?
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --fvw* 17:24, 2005 Jan 5 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
