This article is about cell phones. For the logogram, see ampersand. For a spatial concept no one understands, but has a nifty picture on it, see 600-cell. For rainbows and sunshine, see Rudyard Kipling.

5theye (usually written "5th Eye") has way too much time on his hands. He really ought to be doing things besides editing some page that hardly anyone actually sees, let alone cares about.

[edit] Biography

My real name is not 5th Eye, though it is two words. Sometimes, it's even three. I'm a high school senior from Ohio, soon to graduate and head off to the Ohio State University. I enjoy doing advanced mathematics, computer programming, and sometimes physics. I plan to study advanced calculus, vector calculus, fractal, abstract algebra, algebraic number theory, computer programming, and algorithms. I hope one day to learn the sacred art of drawing multi-dimensional, colored, 3-D fractals by hand.

I happen to take great pleasure in correcting others' grammar, because it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, to an extent. This probably stems from my tendency to be a perfectionist (but a lazy one). I happen to be particularly good at English in general, but don't have any sort of interest in studying it.

I also enjoy music quite a bit, particularly the various genres of metal (mostly post-metal and death metal) and post-rock. I play both bass and guitar, and compose under my project Deterior. Music is quite an important part of my life.

Lastly, I enjoy visual artwork as well, reading a few webcomics here and there (my favorites include xkcd, The Perry Bible Fellowship, and Dinosaur Comics), while sometimes making my own. But that's a secret.

[edit] My Contributions

[edit] Projects

I do lots of editing when I have time, mostly grammar- and formatting-related stuff. I also often do entire-page cleanups, but also do some red link recovery if I'm feeling ambitious and disambiguation fixing when I find time. As of early April, I have well over 500 edits in the English Wikipedia. I absolutely abhor links to redirect pages and disambiguation pages and will fix these mercilessly.

I am entirely an inclusionist, and feel that anything and everything should be added to Wikipedia. I also detest the fair use policy for images, because copyrighting images that aren't supposed to be serious artwork is totally not cool, especially when having to remove images totally ruins my awesome userboxes.

My personal band project is to maintain and expand pages on many of the bands I listen to, including adding album pages. Unfortunately I haven't got as much time as I would like to do all this.
