5ive Style (also known as Five Style, a name taken from a martial arts technique called "Five Style Fist") is a Chicago-based funk/jam quartet. Their albums were released on the Subpop label in the 1990's. The group is made up of two experienced Chicago studio musicians: bassist Leroy Bach (of Liz Phair and Wilco fame) and drummer John Herndon of the Poster Children and Tortoise. Guitarist Billy Dolan and keyboardist Jeremy Jacobsen (also known as The Lonesome Organist) complete the quartet.
