5'Nizza

5'NIZZA (pronounced: PYATnitsa) is an acoustic music group formed in 1998 at Kharkov, Ukraine. 5'Nizza comprises of two young friends: Sergey Babkin (guitar), and Andrey "Sun" Zaporozhets (vocals). They are famous for their reggae-like songs, but their music represents a kind of mixture between different music styles and directions: latino, rock, hip hop.

5'Nizza claim to fame was when a demo album called "Unplugged" was bootlegged and spread all over the C.I.S. countries in 2002.
The demo was well received by fans of the genre as well as online critics. Some even say that, in 2002, "Unplugged" was the absolute number one top seller in Russia.

Their official debut album "Pyatnitsa" was produced in 2003 and consisted mostly of songs from "Unplugged".
The second album "o5" was released in 2005. Both Sergey and Andrey have released other musical projects in addition to their work together. Sergey Babkin is also an actor in "Theater 19" in Kharkiv. Andrey Zaporozhets is currently finishing his high education.

5'Nizza is currently on tour in Russia, in which later this year will be visiting the capital of Belarus, Minsk. They are also working on their third studio album, 5'Nizza i Druzya (5'Nizza и друзья) with an extented crew. Artists to be featured on the new album are, amongst others, Markshaider Kunst (russian: Маркшайдер Кунст) and Luc. People close to 5'Nizza are saying that this third album will be even more unique and different than the previous releases.
