Three regiments of the British Army have been numbered the 51st Regiment of Foot:

  • William Hanmer's Regiment of Marines, numbered as 51st Foot in 1747
  • 51st Regiment of Foot (Cape Breton Regiment), raised in 1754.
  • 51st (2nd Yorkshire West Riding) Regiment of Foot, raised as the 53rd and renumbered in 1756.
