4BH started 2007 as Brisbane's fifth-highest-rating station, behind Nova 106.9, Triple M, 612 ABC Brisbane and 97.3FM.

4BH broadcasts from its Cannon Hill headquarters, and is the sister station of 4BC. 4BH was launched by Mr JB Chandler (of Chandlers electrical stores fame) on 2 January 1932. It was the second radio station that Chandlers had launched, the first being 4BC in 1930.
