4 Words (To Choke Upon) is the first single released by Welsh metalcore quartet Bullet for My Valentine, taken from their EP Hand of Blood and later their debut album The Poison.

This track was not on the original self titled E.P released in the UK, but released as single instead, with the vinyl being strictly limited to only 1000 copies. The track was later released on the american release of the E.P titled 'Hand of Blood'.

The B-side for the CD release of the single is the un-edited version the the E.P track, 'Curses'.
