[edit] Description

Astronomical symbol for 4 Vesta (cf. http://aa.usno.navy.mil/hilton/AsteroidHistory/minorplanets.html). According to Rudolf Koch (The Book of Signs, New York: Dover Publications, 1955 and London: First Edition Club, 1930), this is the main variant. It represents a Vestal fire on top of an altar.
