From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This user or user talk page has been temporarily protected from editing by new or unregistered users to prevent blocked users from removing warnings or introducing vandalism to it. (Administrators, please remember to add the user to Wikipedia:List of protected pages#Protected user pages.)

Attention:

This IP address, 4.21.129.195, is registered to Provident Bank-via-Level 3, and may be shared by multiple users. In the case of organizations using proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism, in which case, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. RexNL 17:34, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. RexNL 17:51, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your contribution, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Some readers looking for a serious article might not find them amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do a bit seriously here. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the Sandbox to get started. I hope you can help us out! Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to University of Virginia, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rettetast 17:14, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. If this is an IP address, and it is shared by multiple users, ignore this warning if you did not make any unconstructive edits. Wikieditor06 21:30, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

  • You've been blocked for three hours for vandalism to Virginia. Feel free to return and make constructive edits when your block ends. --Scimitar 20:36, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Cameron Indoor Stadium

Let me make this clear, you WILL STOP, or you will be banned again. You're not clever and you're not making anyone laugh other than yourself. 1995hoo 20:22, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

  • I have requested a block. I'm sorry you can't seem to grow up. 1995hoo 20:29, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
    • I'm feeling charitable tonight, so I will explain to you why your insistence that VPI's win is significant is irrelevant to the Cameron Indoor Stadium article. First, the game does not fit in the sequence of games noted. Second, and more importantly, your assertion that it is a "significant" game is just plain wrong. It's ONE ACC game out of hundreds Duke has played in more than 50 years in the ACC. It may be notable from a VPI fan's viewpoint, but the place for that is in an article on VPI basketball. (Oh, wait. That article doesn't exist, and the article on VPI athletics has only two lines on basketball. Why not make yourself useful and write an appropriate VPI-related article?) Finally, you clearly don't understand the function of the talk page, and you've vandalized several other articles. Please grow up. Do note that your "contributions" will be watched on an ongoing basis, and you will be blocked again if you don't shape up. (This was posted by 1995hoo, but someone deleted the time stamp.)

Please note that I wasn't trying to make a contribution.

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to University of Virginia, are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. -- Scientizzle 21:09, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to University of Virginia, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Scientizzle 21:11, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for repeated vandalism. If or when the block expires, feel free to come back, but please make useful contributions instead, and refrain from vandalising or this account will face longer blocks, and action could be taken against the individual who uses it. --Deathphoenix ʕ 21:12, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Thanks to both of you. I was about to post the warnings and request another block after seeing the latest on Cameron and UVA. This is two blocks in 24 hours for this individual. I trust that something long-term is in order. 1995hoo 21:44, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

I trust that I don't care because I'm at a library.

By the way, get a life. Anyone academia knows this is the most unreliable source of information. It's a huge joke, nothing you can do will change it. Get a real job.

  • I don't know how many people would agree with "the most," but in any event, it need not be unreliable if people like you would grow up and make productive contributions. Otherwise, you'll just lead people to block you from editing more times. By the way, I can tell that the two comments above are from user 4.21.129.195 because of the history of this page. Kindly sign your comments using four tildes and don't fraudulently attribute comments to others. (I realize I'm wasting my time responding to a troll, but perhaps your response will allow for some further remedial action by the Powers That Be.) 1995hoo 22:03, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

Ok, your right, it isn't "the most" unreliable source of information. However, the fact still stands that no one in academia takes this project seriously. Check out the article "Wikipedia celebrates 750 years of American Independence" at theonion.com. It pokes fun at Wikipedia and is absolutely hilarious. In conclusion, this project will never be taken seriously. Block me if you want. But there are another 4,000,000+pages that over 2 billion internet users can vandalize, nothing you can do can change this.

1995Hoo, please refrain from vandalizing my personal talk page. If you do not cease, I will have to take preemptive measures and have you blocked from editing. 4.21.129.195 15:10, 10 January 2007 (UTC)Frank Beamer
