If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself.

[edit] Oral contraceptive

You, or someone using your same IP address, deleted the history section of Oral contraceptive. Whilst this might be appropriate if you felt the information was better suited in an article on its own (even better if you were able to elaborate and expand on the details), one might expect a link to that new article, or a reason stated in the 'Edit summary' or a short description of the reasoning for the major change to the article in its talk-page. In the absence of any of these, I assume this was an unintended mistake (or an edit that failed to save properly) and I have reverted the article. David Rubentalk 23:31, 27 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] The Great Gatsby

F. Scott Fitzgerald, not James Hetfield, is the author of the novel The Great Gatsby. Your edit to that page has been reverted. Andrew_pmk | Talk 17:52, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

it appears as though some people are hiding behind the guise of "The Pingry School" to vandalize wikipedia.
