[edit] Legitmate Authors

The authors listed as references on Cherokee Society are legitmate, well known Native American authors. Has this w shoni written books? I've never heard of him and I've read tons of Native American books. --4.152.96.220 03:12, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cherokee_society

Please stop reverting to a version of the article which has not been independently fact checked. --BWD 03:28, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Are you going to believe waya sahoni before you read those books? --4.152.96.220 03:44, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Since I personally know nothing about the subject, I've notified someone who does so they can verify your edits. In any event, you've violated WP:3RR. --BWD 03:45, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

If you know nothing about the subject then how do you know what waya sahoni tells you is true? You don't. I'll keep reverting until somebody wises up and listens to good sense. Read the books! Read the books! Read the books! --4.152.96.220 03:47, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Because you reverted an entire article, several hours worth of edits, to an old version of the article. You've completely erased a good part of someone else's contributions. I'm trying to assume good faith, but I seriously doubt you've had time to fact check the previous author's contributions before you reverted 4 times. --BWD 03:50, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Well I saw the old version and I own copies of both those books. I've read them several times in the past. So I'd say I know what the article says is coming from the cited authors. Until you know who this waya sahoni person is I'd doubt his knowledge. --4.152.96.220 03:52, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

I don't know who he is, but he gave justification for his edits and why he thought the portions he removed were inaccurate. You're free to do the same and state what exactly you think is naccurate. That is far more constructive than blindly reverting the article several times. --BWD 03:55, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

I've read the article as it was before waya sahoni got a hold on it. I've read both the books and know that the article is accurate according to the texts in the cited books. That is all the proof I need. Read the books!

You need to give justification for your edits just like the prior contributor did. Reverting the article and erasing his contributions is not justification. --BWD 03:58, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Read the books! --4.152.96.220 03:59, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Anybody can claim "read the books" as justification that they are right. You need to give justifications for your edits just like the prior contributor did. Otherwise you're just vandalizing the article. You've been reported for your blatant 3RR violation. --BWD 04:04, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

You take you blatant 3RR BS and stick it. Until everyone of you guys read those books I'll keep coming back. Waya Sahoni doesn't know his butt from a hole in the ground. My sister know Mr. Garrett personally. My copy is signed by the author to me. I've read it many times. --4.152.96.220 04:07, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Please be civil and avoid personal attacks. Thanks. — Rebelguys2 talk 04:08, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Lil' College Boys

You lil' college boys need to be turned across somebody's knee and spanked and good too. I'd think about this for a while. When you are 20 years older you'll look back and know that you knew nothing. --4.152.96.220 04:11, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Allow a 50-year old to point out that you are the one acting childishly. If Waya sahoni (talk contribs) is who I suspect, then you may well have a legitimate complaint about the accuracy of his edits but you won't convince anyone of that fact by continuing to throw a tantrum. Since you have read these famous books so many times, then it should be easy for you to provide citations from those books to demonstrate individual inaccuracies and correct them. If you can't be troubled to put forward that much effort, how can you expect anyone to take you seriously? -- MediaMangler 04:28, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
Well 50 year old. I don't owe you or anyone else at freakin' wikipedia and explanation for anything. As far as citation goes I cited the authors, books, etc in the reference area. --4.152.156.212 23:59, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
I assumed your reference to "College Boys" reflected your resentment of their youth. As a senile old fart myself, I can empathize a little with such a resentment. From your comments in your other personae, I now see that what you actually resent is their education. You really needn't be so defensive about your lack of education. There is nothing shameful about ignorance, especially if you are making efforts to correct it. Of course, none of us here at Wikipedia owe you anything and, considering your attitude, it is very unlikely that anyone here will be able to teach you anything. -- MediaMangler 20:51, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ole Time Wood Shed

Do you lil' college boys know what it's like to get carried behind the wood shed and have a leather strap used on you buttocks? I'd say you have no clue. That probably why you think you're so smart. --4.152.96.220 04:15, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Please do not make personal attacks on other people. Wikipedia has a policy against personal attacks. In some cases, users who engage in personal attacks may be blocked from editing by admins or banned by the arbitration committee. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Please resolve disputes appropriately. Thank you. — Scm83x talk 04:25, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

When I see photo's of lil' boys desiring to be men I have to laugh. --4.152.156.212 00:00, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
