[edit] Wikiproject SpaceMissions

Thanks very much for the advice - I'm now on the list.. The userbox looks great to me, too - I've had a go myself, and placed it as an actual userbox template, at User: WikiProject Space Missions. My revised userbox looks like this:

This user is a member of WikiProject Space Missions

I thought Vostok 1 would be a better image than the Space Shuttle patch, as 1) It shows we're dealing with all manned spacecraft, rather than just the Space Shuttle, and 2) It was the first manned space mission (excluding the X-15). Let me know what you think!

Thanks again, Colds7ream 13:52, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] STS-115

Y'know, we seem to be making a very good team on this article! Colds7ream 07:37, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your note - nice to think you like my stuff; I always look forward to seeing it tidied up and properly Wikified by yourself - makes it look so much better.

I agree with your comment regarding the WikiProject - with enough enthusiasm (! :-) !) we should soon get it up again. As for dealing with STS-115, yes, we'll be able to condense and tidy it up as soon as Atlantis touches down again - then, as you say, it's Soyuz and Expedition 14! Bring it on! I look forward to working with you some more! Cheers! (Far too many exclamation marks there... lol) Colds7ream 17:46, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

Ah, well - nice to keep us on our toes... :-) BTW, do you have an IM address? That'd be much easier than via the talk pages... Colds7ream 13:34, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks very much for all your help on STS-115 - now we actually have that downtime you talked about earlier! I've greatly extened the Soyuz TMA-9 and Expedition 14 pages; have a look and tell me waht you think.

As for e-mail addresses, i've added you to my MSN list, but I think time zones are going to be an issue - i'm a Brit! Colds7ream 19:47, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Crew Experience

3Idiot, I believe that the changes that you have been making to the manned spaceflight entries where you delete the astronaut's individual flight histories and replace that with the number of flights that they've made is taking a step backwards. I believe that the more factual information available on each entry the better, and removing pertinent information is the wrong direction for this encyclopedia. Is there a reason that you feel that this information should not be listed? Thanks.Fl295 23:25, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

please see this discussion.

3Idiot, I understand the situation now, thanks for your reply.Fl295 22:13, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Disambiguation Talk Request

This is a form message being sent to all WikiProject Disambiguation participants. I recently left a proposed banner idea on the WikiProject Disambiguation talk page and I would appreciate any input you could provide. Before it can be approved or denied, I would prefer a lot of feedback from multiple participants in the project. So if you have the time please join in the discussion to help improve the WikiProject. Keep up the good work in link repair and thanks for your time. Nehrams2020 21:48, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] STS-116

So, just about a month left until Discovery goes up again - I look forward to working with you again! Colds7ream 17:42, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

2 days to go - on your marks! Colds7ream 21:46, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding Wikiproject Space Missions

Hey there! I would like, please, to gauge everyone's thoughts regarding the Wikiproject that is supposed to be governing pages such as STS-117, Wikiproject: Space Missions. As far as I can see, the project seems to be in total meltdown, with no real updates to the project page since August 2006, inactivity with the project's assessing of pages, and a general complete lack of input from the project. To be honest, I don't think its serving the space shuttle mission community as well as it could, and as such i'd like to propose one of two things happen:

1. The project has a total overhaul with wikipedians who are actually going to keep the project running properly restarting it and operating it as it should be. 2. Forking a daughter project dedicated to Space Shuttle Missions (goodness knows we have enough pages to keep up-to-date) off the project with those contributors who are active in Shuttle pages setting up and running the project properly, enabling pages such as this to have an active wikiproject supporting them.

Just my twopenneth - personally, i'd prefer the fork option, but I'd appreciate other people's views. Colds7ream 16:04, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
