A 3-dimensional motion controller is a human interface device that allows a user to move and rotate in three dimensions. They are commonly utilized in CAD applications, 3d modeling, animation, and product visualization. A motion controller replaces the keyboard within an application. A user can then manipulate the controller to zoom, pan and rotate in the 3d environment.
