38th (Irish) Infantry Brigade (United Kingdom)

The 38th (Irish) Infantry Brigade was formed on 13 January 1942 by converting The 210th Independent Infantry Brigade (Home), a Home defense static brigade. It served under many formations, including the 78th Infantry Division, during the Second World War and had many different battalions under its command.

The 38th (Irish) Brigade is to reform in 2007 as part of HQ Northern Ireland.
