3806 Tremaine

3806 Tremaine is a small asteroid of the Alinda family. It was first sighted on 14 October 1975 [1] and given the provisional designation 1975 TY5. Two more sightings occurred (1979 SC11 and 1979 TL2) before the March 1, 1981 sighting by Schelte J. Bus (provisional designation 1981 EW32) finally nailed down the orbit.
It is named for the noted Canadian astrophysicist Scott Tremaine.
