The nameless house at 328 S. Somonauk St. in the DeKalb County, Illinois city of Sycamore is one of numerous nameless homes located within the boundaries of the Sycamore Historic District. 328 Somonauk is listed as a contributing property to the overall historic character of the district, which joined the National Register of Historic Places in May 1978. Of all the homes and other buildings within the district a full 75% fit within the historic district concept.[3]

The house at 328 Somonauk is designed in an Italianate motif. The home no longer holds its original siding, as it has been replaced by vinyl.[1]
