30-Second Bunnies Theatre is a Flash cartoon series featuring films re-enacted by bunnies in 30 seconds. The series is produced by Angry Alien Productions.

The series debuted in 2004, when website creator Jennifer Shiman was looking to create a funny web series. She created a version of The Exorcist, re-enacted by animated bunnies in only 30 seconds. It was a huge hit, prompting Shiman and company to create more "30 second bunny movies". In 2005, the "bunny troupe" was commissioned by Starz! to make new shorts. Each Starz-commissioned re-enactment has premiered on Starz on Demand as well as Starz Ticket before moving online. The series take on Star Wars was also featured on CNN on April 16, 2006. Recently, The series took on the popular comedy Borat! Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, Which was released to the Starz Bunny Club on January 16, 2007, The day after Sacha Baron Cohen won the Golden Globe for Best Actor (Musical or Comedy). The short can be viewed here.

Angry Alien Productions has plans to release the shorts on DVD in the near future. However, the Titanic short was included on that film's 4-Disc Special Collector's Edition DVD, released in 2005.

This film, television, or video-related list is incomplete; you can help by expanding it.

Several re-enactments feature easter eggs or bonus audio tracks after the short:

  • Star Wars: Shortly after the end credits, three outtakes will play. Also, placing the cursor over the Play Again button, activates Chewbacca's roar. (Also, at one point in the garbage scene, Jason Vorhees's hockey mask appears at the bottom.)
  • The War of the Worlds (1953): After the short, placing the cursor over the Play Again button activates the phrase "It's pretty darn hot".
  • Jaws: After the short, clicking on the floating bunny causes it to start dancing and singing the Jaws theme music. Also, placing the cursor over the Play Again button activates the phrase "Smile, you son of a--".
  • Alien: After the short, rolling the cursor near the top left corner of the screen causes the alien to appear, running across the screen. Click on Micheal Doughtery ( under special guest voices) to go to his website.
  • The Rocky Horror Picture Show: The audience of bunnies, in homage to the audience participation aspect of the film, is seen throughout the short. After the short ends, clicking the screen activates a scene where a bunny demonstrates how to do the Time Warp dance. Then, the replay button appears, and the "Time Warp" animation can only be further accessed by clicking the bunny in the left-hand balcony. Also after the short, placing the cursor over the Replay button activates the phrase "Mommy?"
  • It's a Wonderful Life: Before the short starts, placing the cursor over the Play button activates an audio track. After the short, three figures in the shape of bunny heads appear underneath the Play Again button. If any one of them is clicked, a bonus scene plays.

  • Pulp Fiction: Moving the cursor over the "Play" icon plays a voice saying "Yeah!" At the end, moving the cursor over the "Replay" icon plays a voice saying "Motherf--" The rest of the profanity is "bleeped" by the sound of a cuckoo.
