[edit] Plot Outline
Dorothy is fed up with how commercial Christmas has become, especially after Sophia goes on a spending spree with with Dorothy's credit card. Each of the girls plan to spend the holidays with their families, but before they go home, they enjoy a gift exchange. The day after, a series of bizarre occurrences lead them to spend Christmas together in Miami.

- During the episode's rehearsal, the crew played a prank on the ladies. Some of the crew members had put semi-nude pictures of themselves in the "Blanche's Boudoir" calendar. This can be seen during the blooper section of The Golden Girls: Their Greatest Moments special.

- In the final shot of the episode, where the girls are standing by the door, Blanche goes and grabs Sophia's shoulder, and in return, Sophia puts her hand on Blanche's hand. However, in the next shot, which is where we see the girls from outside the door, Sophia's hand is now on Dorothy's hand, which is on Sophia's shoulder.
