2NSB (FM99.3)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

2NSB is a community radio station based in Chatswood, Sydney, broadcasting at 99.3 FM. On air for more than 20 years, the station has been recognised as a provider of quality "rhythm and jazz" to listeners on Sydney's North Shore. The format stretches from smooth jazz to funk, soul and blues, with a mix of nostalgia at certain times of the day.

The station runs as a cooperative, managed by a board of nine members and funded by listener donations and sponsorship from local businesses. Each Director serves a three year term in office, with three Directors elected at each Annual General Meeting.

Many volunteer presenters have been with the station for many years, including Phil Dobbie (now left the station), Nick Hammond, Bruce Potter, Richard Osborne, Georgina Reed, David Campbell and Doreen Holland.
