A 2CR5 battery is a lithium battery commonly used in digital cameras. Electrical output of this battery type is often 6 volts. It is identical to the battery type by the name DL245.
This battery is already going out of style. As you can see with the making of smaller batteries like the AAAA, will make this big batteries a thing of the past.
