in responce to: "Removed tidbit about *288 on Verizon phones (it was spelled wrong, lacked citation and was put in the wrong place anyway)" so, where would you put it? you find a verizion phone and try it.....nothing on google or ask.com says it, so how could it be cited. The people should know!

Where would you put it? On the same line as the other things about 288, NOT below the line about 289.

How could it be cited? You can cite the owner's manual. Or maybe there's a newspaper article somewhere announcing the new feature. CompositeFan 22:18, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
