26858 Misterrogers is a Main Belt asteroid named after beloved children's television host Mister Rogers (it has even been examined astrologically with this in mind[1]). Rogers, who had a lifelong fascination with the sky and astronomy —he obtained a pilot's license while still in high school— also produced a planetarium show called The Sky above Mister Roger's Neighborhood, which is still shown at many planetariums across the United States.
