The DEC Alpha 21264A used the 250 nm CMOS process, and was made commercially available in 1999. The AMD K6-2 K6-3D "Chomper" and "Chomper Extended" also used the 250 nm process. Chomper was released on May 28, 1998. In addition, the Deschutes core Pentium II at 333 MHz was Intel's first Pentium II at 250 nm.
