[edit] Warning

Please stop reverting Penis and Vagina. Due to the Wikipedia:Three revert rule you may be temporarily blocked for such behaviour. I suggest you take your argument up on the article talk pages and refrain from reverting the page for at least another day. Thank you. Cool Hand Luke 12:23, 4 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Civil aircraft

Hi - thanks for the work you're putting in to improving our coverage of light aircraft. You might like to create an account for yourself (why?). Please also take a look at WikiProject Aircraft, the attempt to co-ordinate the aircraft content on the encyclopedia. Cheers --Rlandmann 03:34, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] NPOV and Vector Marketing

Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed you put the {{POV}} tag on the Vector Marketing article. You mentioned that you feel the article has a pro-Vector POV and/or doesn't handle disputes regarding Vector in a neutral manner. Because no one else has brought this issue up, and because there's no active dispute regarding the article, I replaced {{POV}} with the {{POV check}} tag, which you might think of as a "milder" version of the POV tag.

To address your concerns about the article, it would help to point out specific statements you feel violate the NPOV policy. As the original author of the article (more than a year ago when I was a brand-new Wikipedian), I've watched over it, and reverted a few blatantly POV edits. But I haven't been watching the article closely these days and don't know too much about this subject, so I'm probably missing something. Once you're more specific about your concerns regarding this article, we can move forward in improving its NPOV status. Happy editing! sɪzlæk [ +t, +c, +m ] 06:42, 19 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Cutco

I wanted to take this opportunity to talk with you and clarify why I removed the tag. I had no problem with the substance of your criticim edits, they just need to be cited that's all. Go ahead and find some cites for the criticism, be neutral and I won't have a problem.

You seem kind of new so you might not know that just because an edit is reverted does not mean that the next appropriate step is a NPOV tag. That's a pretty serious tag here. In the Cutco article, there is no dispute, you can add what you want, but everything in Wikipedia needs to be cited as other people can check for accuracy..etc.

So anyway, no hard feelings, and I hope you aren't angry that I removed the tag, it's just not appropriate when there hasn't been any discussion and there is no resistance to the change with some citations. Have fun and I look forward ot seeing your work!Gator1 13:55, 19 September 2005 (UTC)

This is in relation to the personal threats you made against me on my talk page.

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gator1 12:49, 22 September 2005 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 24.9.10.235). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my Talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. - Trevor MacInnis (Contribs) 03:45, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Georgi Kukov

There are tons and tons of video or computer game characters and none have been tagged with the notability template. Even in the notability template, one of the things listed is "software" which this article would fit in because Georgi Kukov is a character in the software game.

So what else was I supposed to assume? You edited an article by adding a notability tag, and then claimed your innocence, when the article perfectly fits into one of the subjects included in the notability template.

Also, if it's notable, then we add it to Wikipedia. That's why there are tons and tons of game characters on Wikipedia, that would not be included in any other encyclopedia. Even if you think an article is not warranted, discuss it on the talk page. No one is stopping you from discussing.

On the talk page, I saw that you were suggesting it be moved to the main Command & Conquer: Red Alert article. I respect your opinion and that's perfectly fine.

I advise you not to be drastic with your edits. Discuss your planned edit on the talk page, like you did so, and then if you reach a consensus you can do whatever you want.

Finally, if you care so much about this "elitism", why don't you just make an account? The only difference between you and me is that I made an account, and you're editing under your IP address. If you really think this place has "elitism" (which it does not, because we respect the contributions of all Wikipedia members, even if they're under an IP address), then create an account.

Happy editing!

[edit] Personal Attacks

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --Crossmr 02:17, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed content from User:Crossmr. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thank you.
