Hi,
In the comments to your edit to Higgs boson, you state that
- many areas seemingly lifted (with minor changes) from other sites
If you are aware of any such, they should be reported as copyright violations. Copying from other sources is strongly prohibited on Wikipedia, and is normally dealt with quite harshly. linas 14:56, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
- I think what they meant in this case was that http://www.zen45800.zen.co.uk/ (the link that was removed from Higgs boson) appears to have lifted a lot of material from other sites, not that they found material in Wikipedia which had been lifted. Tim Pierce 15:47, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

- This is exactly what I meant. I've used the copyvio page before (other IPs, this is semi-dynamic), I know my way around more or less. I removed that link because it is confusing, poorly written, does not cite its sources, and seems to have "lifted" things from other sites. 24.76.102.140 23:12, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
