[edit] Removal of article sections

Please stop removing sections of the 9/11 conspiracy theories articles without giving an explanation, thanks. --216.52.163.1 20:25, 3 August 2006 (UTC)LUID

[edit] Edit summaries

Hey; in regard to an edit I noticed on Loose Change (video), make sure you always provide an edit summary when removing content from an article. Just to keep in mind, thanks. ~ PseudoSudo 04:21, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labelled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism and may be reverted, so please always briefly summarize your edits, especially when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you.

  • Please do not delete sourced material from reputable publications. WP is not censored. Thanks, Levi P. 04:26, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Three Revert Rule

You have violated the three revert rule (WP:3RR). Please do not do so again. --Peephole 15:51, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Removing cited information

Removing cited information from articles is vandalism. I have reverted your attempts to vandalize.--MONGO 05:20, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

I haven't removed cited information, I've removed pov quotes added by people trying to asset a specific viewpoint. 24.4.180.197 05:22, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Well, I always defend WP:BLP, but the information is referenced and he did, according to the article, make those comments.--MONGO 05:29, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
Indeed, and there are many many more comments from each article that all of us can gladly cite. But I'd rather not get into an edit war which we can all see appears to be starting now that the anti-Steven Jones faction is all stepping up to protect this one quote to try to disparage him again. 24.4.180.197 05:33, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
