I strongly urge you to remove your comments regarding Bauder's private life out of this. It is not helpful and not relevant. And is, if anything, damaging to the defendants. Derex 23:52, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

I have apologized to Fred. I can see how you think it's a private matter, but understand that Fred's suspension by the Court is a matter of public record and is used an example in scholarly articles. And Fred himself has discussed it on Wikipedia. I wouldn't have "outed" his "private life" if no one here had heard of the case, but since it's already discussed here, I thought it exemplified a pattern in the way Fred approaches judicial issues. But illustrative or not, out of deference to your and others' opinions I'd have removed the citation if Fred hadn't already removed it himself.

Thank you. It is, of course, widespread knowledge now as it was when Fred was elected. I also protested this airing of dirty laundry back when jguk raised it in Dec '04. If you want to criticize Fred, there is plenty of relevant ammunition in the archives of arbcom. However, that's best done after the case, and really in the next election. Personally, I think Fred is a valuable arbitrator, though he doesn't always get it right ... but that's why they have multiple arbitrators. Derex 14:54, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
