Why do you think the Green party should not be included?

[edit] Some semi-private comments
I think you have noticed that I am an admin (from your comments, it seems obvious that you checked out my user page, where the fact is fairly plain.) You also seem fairly new to the project, so I wanted to make you aware of a few things.
In our interactions on the Texas election page, my being an admin should have zero bearing. I am just another editor there. Yes I have a block button, but it would be totally inappropriate for me to use it on someone that I have been involved in an edit dispute with.
I do have knowledge of knowledge of the rules and how things work around here. And I know where to go to report rules violations if they occur, in order to get a neutral admin to check out the situation and issue blocks if they are appropriate. But there is no admin power involved there, as anyone can report rules violations to get admin action.
I also know the rules themselves. I know what not to do in order to not break rules and get in trouble on the project. Here is one place where I want to level the playing field. Please do not consider these threats or warning, as at this point I consider any violations you have made to be comparatively minor. Not things I would block you for if I was an uninvolved admin. But if you know what the rules are, you can avoid any escalation of certain things that might become a real violation.
First, WP:NPA. No personal attacks. Specifically the labeling as vandalism what is simply an edit dispute. I know you apologized, and I fully accept that apology. But I just wanted to point out the rule that that type of action could fall under if intensified.
Second, WP:POINT. IMHO you are technically in violation of this with the whole polling table thing. The new column, and especially the 100%/0% stuff are disruptions of the table, all done to make a point about media access. OTOH, it is such a minor violation that I know I would never block for it, likely never warn for it. But I again wanted to make you aware of the rule. What you have done once, you could do again, and next time might not be so minor. Speculative, but I'm hopeing that you will read the link and it will never escalate.
Third, and given the way we are going, the most likely for you to hit unknowingly, is WP:3RR. The Three Revert Rule. This is a rule that states that edit warring, like we've been doing, in inherently bad. It puts a hard limit on such warring. Read the link and be aware of the limit. It's a very easy rule to unknowingly break, so be in the know. :)
In the end, I've taken the time to write all this out because I like your passion. In many ways your contributions to the Texas Election page have been major improvements. You have an energy that may serve you well here. But I have also seen many passionate editors who could not learn to work within the rules. And the rules are the glue that holds the project together. Learn the rules, work within them, and channel your passion toward improving the project, even if it's only a few pages where you have an interest, and in the end the project will be the better for your time and effort. - TexasAndroid 20:12, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
