Please don't go changing BCE to BC in articles that were that way for a long time. Thumbelina
Please be aware of the wp:3rr. Jwissick 05:14, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
Hey, regardless of when or not a person may or may not have been born (^_^) I'd recommend you use the talk page. As per above, it is possible to be right and be blocked at the same time. (I'm telling User:W.marsh the same thing, ok?)

[edit] Discuss in talk, not in reverts...
Talk:1 BC. Trying to cram an argument into an edit summary box is a bit silly and reverting 3 times in a day is against the rules of WP anyway. That's all anyone is saying. --W.marsh 07:05, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
Re your edits and explanations at Judaism: WP:POINT -- Jmabel | Talk 07:11, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
Regarding your change to 1, cite your proof / evidence in Talk:1 before reverting again. Jwissick 07:19, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] 3RR vio
You have been reported to the Administrators' Noticeboard for your violation of Wikipedia's three-revert rule on 1 BC. Please immediately cease your revert-warring, or you will likely be blocked from editing Wikipedia.—chris.lawson (talk) 07:21, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] WP:3RR
You have been blocked for violating the three revert rule on 1 BC. You're welcome to come back once your block expires but please use the talk page instead of edit warring. --fvw* 07:22, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding Buddhism
The Manual of Style on Wikipedia does not condone either style on eras. To quote from the manual of style:
Both the BCE/CE era names and the BC/AD era names are acceptable, but be consistent within an article. Normally you should use plain numbers for years in the Common Era, but when events span the start of the Common Era, use AD or CE for the date at the end of the range (note that AD precedes the date and CE follows it). For example, 1 BC–AD 1 or 1 BCE–1 CE.
In articles about prehistory, if you use BP (before present) or MYA (million years ago), expand these abbreviations when you first use them, as most readers will be unfamiliar with them.
Changing the dates in an article when there is already an established format used could be considered disruption. If you have had a problem with other users on another article, then you should discuss that problem with the users on that article's talk page. You should not disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point.

Are you User:Jordain? Would you admit it if you were?--Prosfilaes 02:17, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Common Era
Can you please explain how it's "biased" to point out that the start date of the AD calendar is the traditional birth year of Jesus, as opposed to an accepted one? Preferably at the article's talk page, please? -GTBacchus(talk) 22:01, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Darwiner111
From the pattern of reverts started by user:Darwiner111 which continued from this IP immediately after Darwiner111 was blocked tonight, this is clearly the same person. (The edit summaries are a dead giveaway.) The comments on both talk pages indicate several other sock puppets are used also. Please note that using other accounts to evade a block is not permitted. I am unhappy to see you have started reverting the December 25 article again over date styles and have violated the three revert rule again. I have blocked you for 48 hours. Please avoid using multiple accounts to evade the block. Jonathunder 23:19, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

- I did NOT violate the three revert rule, I reverted only THREE TIMES, as you did and you were not blocked. 24.222.79.90 23:22, 1 February 2006 (UTC).

- You have no evidence that I was using any sockpuppets to appear as multiple people to violate the three revert rule. 24.222.79.90 23:29, 1 February 2006 (UTC).
