Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 24.136.99.194). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. Antonrojo 16:42, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. We have a policy that all additional facts should be backed up with references. It's not always enforced, but for contentious articles like Adolf Hitler and Joseph Goebbels, please cite some references to back up your statements about Roman Catholicism. Thanks. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Celtic F.C., you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Demiurge 21:09, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Celtic F.C., you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Demiurge 23:28, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

Quit vandalising Demiurge's userpage. - Ali-oops 18:08, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] March 1, 2006

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Celtic F.C.. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. - dharmabum 06:10, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

Okay please stop changing the dates. The dates set up in Wikipedia articles are fine as they are, stop changing them to UK format. If you want the dates displayed in an alternate format then change them in your preferences, Wikipedia will automatically detect any dates entered correctly and reformat them to your preference, that way it doesn't matter whether they are entered in the article as Month Day or Day Month they will always be displayed to your preferences. So please stop altering them. Ben W Bell 08:28, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Date internationalisation and delinking

Okay, can I ask why you keep changing the date formats in articles and why you keep removing valid links from within the articles. You keep mentioning in your comments "int'l nominals required (European subject matter) as per Administrator "Jtdirl"" to give you reason to do so but can I ask where you got that from. Until then can you please refrain from all this alteration as these changes be construed as vandalism. Ben W Bell 08:39, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism Warning

Okay, what you are now doing constitutes vandalism. You are in your editing altering the links to the foreign language pages (so they no longer work) or removing them. This must stop. Ben W Bell 08:53, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of notable brain tumor patients

I've reinstated Arlen Specter. Your edit comment was almost on the mark. Senator Specter was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2005. He has also been a brain tumor patient since 1993. The brain tumor diagnosis is very well documented through reliable public information. See my comment on the article talk page if you have any questions. Regards, Durova 18:24, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Check history and/or Talk before editing

It's a good idea to check the Talk pages and/or recent history of articles before editing, to avoid going over ground that's already been covered. In particular, checking either of those for Vita Sackville-West would've shown you that somebody else made the exact same edit as you did just over a month ago, and the reasons why that edit was reversed. --Calair 22:55, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

...although now I notice that both User:24.136.99.194 and User:65.88.88.214, who made the earlier edit, are suspected sockpuppets of Rms125a@hotmail.com, the 'else' above may be incorrect. --Calair 03:06, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

Excuse me I am trying to use this computer for Internet and I keep getting these stupid, distracting messages. PLEASE STOP!

[edit] Dates

Please stop changing dates around - it is unnecessary since March 22 is displayed the same as 22 March (as this shows!). Your edits add nothing other than additional overhead on the Wikipedia servers. Budgiekiller 09:49, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

Hmm, perhaps if you read the Manual of Style you'd appreciate that what I'm saying most definitely is NOT manifestly untrue. However, if you really feel that changing March 24 to 24 March or vice versa is (1) useful to the Wikipedia and (2) a good use of your life, then feel free - there are about a million pages for you to "correct". Good luck, and happy editing! Budgiekiller 22:36, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
Yep, just reverted Tony Mowbray - perhaps you need to check your 'my preferences' tab to see how dates are presented to you... Budgiekiller 20:55, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Another date reversal! Not worth it. It'll always be presented the same according to your preferences. But please, help yourself, there are plenty of dates in Wikipedia that probably don't meet your expectations! Budgiekiller 21:59, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

You are making edits to Wikipedia which are breaking the Manual of Style house style which users are supposed to follow. Please stop. These are the agreed rules which everyone abides by. Continuous changing of content in articles to break agreed-upon MoS rules, when you have been asked to stop, is often seen as vandalism. Constant vandalism may lead to you being blocked from editing Wikipedia. - CobaltBlueTony 20:38, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

I suspect you of being a sockpuppet of a permanently banned user. PatGallacher 15:54, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Omura and Arbitration

A request for arbitration has been filed for Yoshiaki Omura. Please see Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration#Current requests. - Che Nuevara 22:44, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Yoshiaki Omura

Please stop. It is extremely probable that you are a sock puppet of the other 24 IP that was recently blocked for 3RR. If you continue to revert the article, you will be blocked as well. 3RR does not apply to those reverting your edits as it is apparent that you are trying to evade a block. --Philosophus T 03:19, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

You are speaking nonsense.

Even if you aren't a sock, you are one reversion away from breaking WP:3RR. If you revert again, you will be blocked. --Philosophus T 03:26, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

You are speaking nonsense.

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Yoshiaki Omura, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. --Oden 03:44, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
