Without discussion on the talk page, you cannot convince anyone that King is not revered to the extent mentioned in the article, regardless of your personal views. If you intend to dispute it, you need to present eveidence that the claims as to his status in American culture is not as the article contends. Without sourcing, you could only use weasel words to insinuate that the sources establishing King's status are not representative of the majority they would undoubtedly claim. Whatever your personal views, King nevertheless holds the status as the article describes. This is a neutral point. - CobaltBlueTony 20:37, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
