Comet Kopff is a periodic comet, estimated at 11th magnitude, in our solar system. It was discovered by August Kopff (Heidelberg, Germany) on 23 August 1907.
The comet was missed on its 1912-1913 return, but was recovered in 1919 and has not been missed since. A close pass by Jupiter in 1954 increased the perihelion distance and orbital period.
