[edit] Crime Expo South Africa

I am disappointed you have restored a much less good version of the article without responding properly in the article talk page. As it stands it breaks many of our policies. For example, blogs are not usually considered good sources. As has been said, the proper way to address any concerns you have is to either add properly sourced material in the article, or to discuss in talk as others have done. --Guinnog 23:56, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

Guinnog, I am disappointed by you making this article one-sided, by deleting properly written sections and replacing it by a one sided version without proper reference. You state that sections are blogs, when information was taken from leading newspapers. Therefore I strongly condemn your actions.--219.89.59.168 22:18, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome!

Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian.

Maybe if you read up some more on our policies you will have less difficulty in understanding why we feel the article is better now. Please see if you can improve the article, but only with properly referenced information. And please sign your posts with ~~~~. Thanks --Guinnog 22:41, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
