[edit] Hyperpower

Sorry, you've misunderstood me; you shouldn't discuss the edits on my Talk page, but on the articles talk page. Note, however, that accuracy isn't enough; relevance is important too. As no-one has suggested that any individual European country is likely to surpass the U.S. economy, it's not useful to give evidence against such a claim. (Incidentally, your stricture on the locution 'Some people believe that' is a bit odd, given that you're adding a sentence starting in just that way.) Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 21:35, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Per capita GDP numbes are 100% relevant to the article. -216.12.31.99

You're not reading what I say. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 21:37, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I added the "some people believe" until the other "some people believe" is removed or improved, for consistancy. Feel free to improve both at the same time.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood what you said, I thought you were implying that per capita GDP numbers were not relevant to "surpassing the U.S. economically". Instead of saying 1 out of 25 states, I could easily refer to the overall per capita GDP of the EU if you prefer. Either way, it demonstrates the point nicely. -216.12.31.99
