[edit] Maratha clans
Sir, you seem to know a great deal about the clans and surnames. If (as I think) you have supplied BOTH the lists, it is really great. I have carefully preserved the lists by moving from several pages, but only you can do the rest. Can you please:
- provide references for all the information;
- slowly get all the information about flag, family deity etc for the remaining clans.
Then I can organize into one good format. Also, please become a registered user by following this link. It is safe and you can register under an assumed name. Please do so. Regards, ImpuMozhi 02:25, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

- Also, I am thinking how it can be that ALL the 96 Gotras are brahmin gotra? Is it the Gotra of the Kul-guru or something like that? please let us know. ImpuMozhi 02:34, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
I would request you to create a user ID - it is easy, and this will give your valuable work more recognition. Of course, you are free to continue as you wish. --Bhadani 07:54, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
