The President and his staff head to Los Angeles for a whirlwind visit and a celebrity fundraiser with movie mogul Ted Marcus, who threatens to cancel unless The President comes out against a bill banning gays in the military. Leo and Vice President Hoynes try to deal on an ethanol tax credit bill and Josh attempts to move closer to Joey Lucas. Zoey's new Secret Service agent is introduced to the President.
