From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

School IP address Attention:

This IP address, 209.80.142.210, is registered to Newton Public Schools and may be shared by multiple users of an educational institution. In the case of institutions using proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason a message intended for one person may be received by another. Similarly an innocent user may get blocked for another user's vandalism. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism, in which case please read our advice on this situation.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block with the template {{schoolblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of persistent vandalism, anonymous editing from this IP address may be disabled for up to 6 months at a time while abuse reports may be forwarded to your school administration for investigation in case of long-term abuse by registered users.
If you wish to contribute to this encyclopedia, please
create an account at home and log in with it here.

Due to persistent vandalism, editing by anonymous users from your school, library, or institution's IP address is currently disabled. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this address is probably also disabled.

  • If accounts need to be created at school for class projects, please have your teacher or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at unblock-en-l from an email address listed on your school's website.
  • Alternatively, if you have no Internet access at home, you may email us using your school-issued email address and an account will be created for you.

Thank you.

[edit] Recent edits

You recently made a number of edits to articles on characters from The Railway Series by Rev W. Awdry and Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends TV Series, attributing character voices to actors from the Harry Potter series of films.

Can you please cite your sources, i.e. put a note on the talk page to say where this information came from. I have briefly searched the Internet and so far found nothing. If either (a) you have not cited a verifiable source, or (b) I do not find this by further searching; I will have no choice but to revert these edits.

-=# Amos E Wolfe talk #=- 16:26, 28 September 2005 (UTC)
I refer you to a comment made on 24.60.128.48 talk page - ...your unexplained changes to Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends series articles. The characters in the TV series are all voiced by the narator, not individual high profile actors. If you have sources that claim otherwise, please present them on the talk page. - Thryduulf
I believe you may be the same person as User:24.60.128.48 (your I.P address can change), please also see Wikipedia:Sock puppet for users who have more than one identity.
I must warn you that if you do not cite sources or otherwise verify the edits mentioned above they will be reverted and most likely treated as vandalism. Sdministrators are able to block users who carry out vandalism on Wikipedia. -=# Amos E Wolfe talk #=-

You have made exactly the same edits as user:24.60.128.48 in the same manner and, like that user you cite no sources and make no edits to talk pages. Based on this evidence, I believe you to be the same user and have thus blocked you as a returning vandal. Thryduulf 20:43, 28 September 2005 (UTC)

This is regarding the page Planet X. Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! --PeruvianLlama(spit) 20:00, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
