[edit] Eton College & Fame
Dear Anonymous User,
Please justify your edits to Eton College with regard to fame. I have been careful to outline my reasoning for the version I prefer, and have received no dissent. You refer to the consensus as consisting of "me and one other". As well as being factually inaccurate - both "Fergie" and "Yanksta X" have agreed with me - this is irrelevant. The crucial point is that no-one disagreed. Since you clearly do not agree with our assessment, the logical next step is to post your reasoning so we can discuss it. This would be much more productive than entering into an edit war.
You also say that "this was the ve5rsion before you came along", referring to Yanksta X. However, it was you who introduced the version you favour only a week ago. Prior to that, one person had edited the sentence to a version which included a reference to Harrow, but this was not you. Indeed, the version I am arguing for has been the prevalent text since before you made your first edit to the article. I will leave the version as you have edited it up for a day or so before editing it, unless you present some reasons for your preferred wording.
I hope you think I've been fair; at the moment, I just don't understand your unwillingness to backup your view which you obviously believe to be correct!
All the best,

You have ignored my comments on here and edited back the page to your version. You have then implemented compromise version which is extremely unsatisfactory because it includes your version in its entirety (the factual truth of which I have questioned and you have not provided me with any evidence for), introduces weasel words, and unnecessarily lengthens the opening paragraph, which needs to be kept short. I have tried to be as civil as possible throughout this, even though you have consistently ignored wikipedia customs or, indeed, politeness. Please, please engage with the discussion at Talk:Eton College#Fame before making another edit. I just do not think it is true that people frequently talk about a top three most famous public schools, and you haven't provided any evidence that they do. On the other hand, I have provided evidence to back up the claim that Eton is "probably the most famous school in the world", any others have agreed with my point of view. No-one has, as yet, agreed with yours.

[edit] Vandalism
Why do you make controversial edits and then not explain why on the article's talk page? Regarding Eton College, more than two (yes, if you bother to count), users have decided that Eton should be referred to as agreed. You are factually wrong in what you are attempting to put on, as a google search will reveal. You are effectively a vandal until you justify your actions. Why you remain incapable of that I am unaware. Until you can refute the argument on the Eton College talk page, you are in the wrong. Yanksta x 19:33, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vandalism II
You have continued to place arbitrary, unsupported POV statements in the Eton and Harrow articles and are removing information backed by printed media. This amounts to vandalism, and if you do not stop you may suffer consequences. you appear to have a strong personal bias towards Harrow, this should not be included in neutral articles.Yanksta x 17:56, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
