Hi; if you're going to create an article, please make sure it has some content to it. Just adding a category link isn't enough, and such non-articles will be deleted rather quickly. See Wikipedia:Perfect stub article for information on how to write a good stub. -- Hadal 16:48, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Also note that you'll have to do better than "Desjardins Trust Inc. is a Quebec based trust company." These are not articles you're creating. -- Hadal 16:51, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Agreed. Please note that you're creating a lot of work for others to clean up. Thanks. - Lucky 6.9 16:58, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] HKWNB, HKCOTW, Current events

Hi. I noticed you have edited some Hong Kong-related articles. You might be interested to take a look at HK wikipedians' notice board, HK Collaboration of the Week and Current events in Hong Kong and Macao. You may also consider getting an account and it brings many benefits. Happy editing! — Instantnood 21:37, Mar 17, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Bus articles

Good work on these - some of which are very similar - can they brought together under one umbrella page? A curate's egg 8 July 2005 13:08 (UTC)

[edit] Hong Kong Government articles

Welcome to Wikipedia. Would you consider merging all of the HK government-position articles (e.g. Director-General of Investment Promotion, Commissioner for Tourism, etc.) into a single "Government of Hong Kong" article instead? In particular, the existing article names don't seem especially useful. --Alan Au 21:52, 25 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Beer Stores

There was already an article on this topic at Brewers Retail Inc., with a redirect from The Beer Store. And "Beer Stores" is in no way a valid title for the article anyway. Would you please put a little bit of effort into ensuring that you're not duplicating existing articles? Bearcat 08:12, 28 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Robert Rabinovitch

I expanded your article on Robert Rabinovitch a good deal. I added a proper stub tag, and added several sentances of useful information. It would be helpful if you could do this sort of thing when you create an article. You can find the list of approved stub types here. DES (talk) 16:23, 15 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Toronto hospitals

Hi there,

I see you've been adding a group of links to the articles on Toronto's major hospitals. You might find it useful to create a template that you can insert on all of the related pages. With a template, you can make all of the edits to the list in a single place, and they will be repeated on each page that uses that template. (Wikipedia:Navigational templates has a list of templates currently in use.)

I would also encourage you to get a Wikipedia username; it makes it much easier for other editors to communicate with you.

Cheers, TenOfAllTrades(talk) 18:19, 29 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Politics of Israel

Please explain your removal of the Origins of Israeli law.

I also think the judicial system belongs here. Please see other Politics of ... artciles first (eg Politics of Japan, Politics of Germany). Politics doesn't just mean legislative/executive government.

-- jnothman talk 15:37, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

I now see you made Origins of Israeli law. Again, Politics of Israel is not meant to be what is found in the second half of the article (ranting details about political history in Israel; I think these belong elsewhere). Other Politics of... articles focus on the systems, and then upon the general qualitative nature.
I would also feel much more comfortable collaborating with you on this article if you logged in and had a username. jnothman talk 15:42, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summaries

Further, please provide edit summaries with all edits. It helps everyone. See Wikipedia:Edit summary. jnothman talk

[edit] November 23, 2005

Rergarding your most recent edit to the article Israeli judicial system. Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! --PeruvianLlama(spit) 16:10, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Too many wikilinks

Twice now in Politics of Israel, you have inserted way too many wikilinks. Take a look at other articles, or -- even better -- featured articles and you will see that months are never linked (unless the article is about the month), years need only be linked when they are particularly central. And in an article on Politics of Israel, you should only need one link to Israel up the top, and not a link every time the word comes up! Usually you shouldn't need more than one link to any particular article except occasionally when they are in significantly disparate sections. Please pay more attention to the Manual of Style in the future. See in particular Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(links). I do not consider the article to have finished being cleaned up. And again, PLEASE get a USERNAME! jnothman talk 01:17, 24 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Please..

Please make sure the information you added are correct and accurate, and please consider refraining from adding them if you're not too sure. You can suggest the additions at the talk pages. — Instantnood 18:09, 30 November 2005 (UTC)

PLEASE KINDLY STOP wasting your time to input inaccurate material to Wikipedia if you are not going to make sure of their accuracy. — Instantnood 01:16, 2 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Don't delete information...

...that you disagree with. Use the talk page. User:Bcorr 15:02, 8 December 2005 (UTC)

I have reverted a recent edit you made to the article Ajax-Pickering Transit. You did not provide an edit summary, and I could not determine whether the edit was vandalism or a constructive contribution. In the future, please use edit summaries. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Srikeit(talk ¦ ) 18:53, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Accurate Information

Please ensure that your edits to articles consist of accurate information. You recently edited the number of Tim Hortons locations ([1]) in the Tim Hortons article, but a quick check of the official Tim's website indicates that your edits are incorrect. You can't just make stuff up and insert it into Wikipedia. I suggest that you take some time to review Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Citing sources. You have been asked in the past to stop adding inaccurate information to Wikipedia. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Skeezix1000 11:24, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Rogers Telecom

Please do not add commentary and your personal analysis of an article into Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. — Nathan (talk) / 02:00, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed content from Yigal Allon. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Teke 18:30, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

Please refrain from removing content from Wikipedia, as you did to Paul Martin. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Baseball,Baby! ballsstrikes 16:29, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits to KFC

Your recent contribution(s) to to the Wikipedia article KFC are very much appreciated. However, you did not provide references or sources for your information. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a drive to improve the quality of Wikipedia by encouraging editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. If sources are left unreferenced, it may count as original research, which is not allowed. Can you provide in the article specific references to any books, articles, websites or other reliable sources that will allow people to verify the content in the article? You can use a citation method listed at inline citations that best suits each article. Thanks!

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 19:51, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Recent edit to Franklin Charles Gimson

Thank you for your recent edit to Franklin Charles Gimson. Your edit included one or more links to the page British, which is a disambiguation page. This type of page is intended to direct users to more specific topics. Ordinarily we try to avoid creating links to disambiguation pages, since it is preferable to link directly to the specific topic relevant to the context. You can help Wikipedia by revising the links you added to Franklin Charles Gimson to refer directly to the most relevant topic. (This message was generated by an automatic process; if you believe it to be in error, please accept our apologies and report the error to help us improve this feature.) --Russ (talk) 17:45, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
