[edit] Chang v. Rosie

There is no indication that Chang kills Rosie. In fact, upon exiting the bridge he says that he must have passed out for a minute, then faints again. It's more likely that Rosie shot herself when it became clear that her mission had failed.

I had the same impression. I'm going to change that sentence unless anyone objects... --Patteroast 02:18, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
I got the impression that she was killed by Chang. As the article stands it makes no sense. Why would SHAKA send Rosie to land on Europa merely to kill herself? The article says "Having accomplished her mission, McCullen then shoots herself.", but her mission was to find out if the mountain was in fact diamond, correct?, which she never found out for sure (because it was discovered later). If anything it should say she shot herself because her mission failed, but even then it's speculation. I think it's much more likely that Chang got the gun in a scuffle after the hard landing, shot her, passed out rather briefly, and then came to the door. --Thaddius 15:17, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
